Privacy Policy
How ProGen Football Club collects, uses and protects personal information.
ProGen Football Club ("ProGen", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and the My ProGen portal, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password.
- Player registration details: name, date of birth, gender, nationality, contact details, address, emergency contact, football information and, where provided, medical notes.
- Parent/guardian details for players we register.
- Documents you upload (for example a birth certificate or passport photo).
- Order details: items purchased, delivery or collection details and order history.
- Payment records: amount, status and reference. Card and mobile-money details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored by ProGen.
How we use it
- To register players, run the academy and contact players and families about training, matches and payments.
- To process and deliver shop orders.
- To keep the website and accounts secure.
Who can see it
Player records are private by default. Only the player, their linked parents/guardians and authorised ProGen staff can see them. Coaches see only what they need for their assigned teams. A player's profile appears on the public website only if ProGen explicitly publishes it.
